"The Astroduck" (1966, Looney Tune)
Yet another Daffy vs. Speedy Gonzales chase, this time involving TNT! Daffy rents a dilapidated old Mexican hacienda, but finds that he is not alone. He refuses to share the place with its only other resident, Speedy Gonzales. Daffy tries pipe-snaking Speedy out of his hole, only to have the rotorooter come out Speedy's back entrance and drill him in the rear. He chases Speedy with a mallet, tries to shoot him, and uses a plunger on him when he tries to escape under the floor. Speedy retaliates using a stick of dynamite, but Daffy pulls out the big guns and fills the entire subflooring with explosives. After he lights the fuse, Daffy realizes Speedy has escaped. He tries to go back in and stop the explosion, but it's too late...Daffy and the house are blown sky high, with Speedy observing that we have a new "astro duck"! Not the best of the McKimson Daffy/Speedy series by any means, but it has a clever opening title sequence that makes sense only when tied in with the ending. Daffy at his meanest!
